Cyril Bondi

Cyril Bondi (1980) is a drummer, percussionist and composer. A key figure of the Swiss music scene, he is a founding member of the bands La Tène and Yalla Miku and of the duo Cyril Cyril. In the field of experimental music, he has worked with projects such as diatribes, Boxing Noise, Bondi Martel Schiller and many other collaborations. Bondi is also a composer, mainly in collaboration with d’incise and Cyril Yeterian, but also under his own name, for musical performances, the theater, cinema and dance productions. He co-founded the Insub Meta Orchestra with d’incise in 2010, a large experimental ensemble of 65 musicians, that was awarded the Swiss Music Special Prize 2025. He is also one of the coordinators of the label/collective INSUB. He played until 2018 with the jazz trio Plaistow.
